Anissa Naouai was born in New York City. In 2001 she came to Moscow to study at the world famous Moscow Art Theater School under the direction of Oleg Tabakov, and graduated in may 2005. During her studies Anissa played Bianca in William Shakespeare`s, “The Taming of the Shrew”, Rosa in Tenesse William`s, “The Rose Tattoo”, and the Mother in Sam Shepard`s, “True west”. She is currently a founding company member of the international theater company Studio Six of The Moscow Art theater and is living in Moscow.
