Isle of Dogs tells the story of Atari Kobayashi, 12-year-old ward to corrupt Mayor Kobayashi. Много эмоций, полные кипучей энергии сцены, яркие образы. Фаллада явно пользуется объёмом на полную катушку. Не роман, а сплошное удовольствие. Ну ладно, тут я уже загибаю, это всё ещё классика, причём довольно тяжеловесная. Но к этому сочетанию личной драмы и общественно значимого посыла мне оказалось сравнительно легко привыкнуть.
